Simone Villetard has over 20 years of martial arts experience and holds multiple instructor and advanced certificates in Muay Thai, Taekwon Do, Jiujitsu, Wrestling and self-defense programs. She has competed in various provincial, national, and international competitions including world events and international amateur fight cards. Her highlights have included representing Canada in Thailand and the United States both in the rings and on the mats. She scored multiple knockouts and submissions which maintained her standings as a Canadian athlete.

Now a busy mother of two, she currently enjoys lending her talents as a female martial artist to various local jiujitsu, military and wrestling programs including Ground Control Academy’s programming and as Strathcona Wrestling’s Elk Island Public School’s coordinator. Simone has a passion towards developing martial arts programming, curriculum design and community building. She also enjoys coaching kids and adults new to martial arts and supporting martial arts growth in the Ardrossan area.
